1. Is the AMI accredited?

Yes, we are fully accredited. We are APPROVED members of the Association of Independent Christian Colleges and Seminaries (AICCS) and as we are able to issue college level degrees.

 

2. What is the purpose of the AMI?

To equip the Body of Christ in their individual areas of calling and commissions.

 

3. Will I be ordained/licensed at the end of the classes?

**Yes and No. Ordination is a serious and sacred event. It is a public recognition of you and your assignment in the kingdom. Ordination should not be taken lightly, ordination will open doors for you in the Kingdom and secular organizations as well. Ordination is not a guarantee simply by completing the AMI Courses. We will be measuring commitment, timeliness, quality of homework and perhaps most importantly, character to help determine a candidate's readiness for ordination. Ordination will not be forced on Apostle Moore, and Apostle Moore will not force ordination on anyone.  You are also eligible for licensure without ordination.

4. Where is my license recognized?

The state of Indiana recognizes the licensure of “religious” organization. State by state varies.  Upon being licensed it will be valid for 18 months. License renewal will be made available for $75.  Ordination renewal will be made available for $100.

5. Will I find my calling?

Yes! We endeavor to help you discover your identity and call.

 

 

6. How many classes are there?

The Ordination Track consists of 25 Classes. The Associate Program consists of 27 classe for a total of 68 credit hours. The Bachelor Program consists of 59 classes for a total of 120 credit hours.

7. Is there homework?

Yes, there is. Homework will be assigned each week after class. Assignments are due 1 week from the date they are given. Homework must be returned via email in Word document format as an attachment to homework@amiuniverse.org.

An example of the required format for homework is provided in the orientation packet. Homework assignments that are more than 2 weeks late will be counted as an "I" or Incomplete and result in possible academic probration.

8. Is there an attendance policy?

Yes, there is. Classes are held on Thursday evenings at 7 pm (EST). Students may miss two (2) classes due to unexpected circumstances (emergency, etc.).  If student has pre-arranged plans on a class night please inform an AMI staff member ahead of time. Three or more unexcused absences will be counted as voluntary withdrawal from AMI and will result in immediate dismissal. Student (local) is considered late at 7:11 pm (EST). Two (2) tardy’s are considered one (1) unexcused absence. Attendance will affect your eligibility for license, ordination and/or graduation.

9. If I have to drop out, can I get a refund?

After you have attended three (3) classes there will not be any refunds given.

10. Is there required reading other than the AMI Manuals?

No, however, the books listed below are highly recommended to assist throughout the session:
